Dr. Andre Grant of Duke Orthopaedics of Raleigh graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Biology and attended the Howard University College of Medicine.

After graduation, Dr. Grant completed the Halstead surgical internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and finished his orthopedic training at the University of Colorado. Finalizing his training, he completed a sports medicine fellowship focusing on shoulder and knee disorders while serving as assistant team physician for many professional sporting teams including the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball, the Baltimore Blast indoor soccer team and the Baltimore Mariners indoor football team.

Dr. Grant’s clinical interests include shoulder problems such as rotator cuff and labral injuries, as well as, the all-inside ACL reconstruction that decreases soft tissue damage and allows for quicker healing and easier rehabilitation.
