Dr. Richard Pierce, Duke General Surgery of Raleigh
Dr. Richard Pierce, of Duke General Surgery of Raleigh completed his medical training at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University Medical Center in Missouri. Dr. Pierce completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Washington University Medical Center and a fellowship in laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery at Legacy Health System. He also has a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
