The goal of the Hand Fast-Track is to to minimize waiting time and provide front line expert care in the emergency room. By restructuring the check in process and training emergency physicians we expedite the initial examination, X-rays and definitive treatment. We are the only hospital in Wake County with 24/7 availability of board certified hand specialists at the Raleigh Hand Center located adjacent to the emergency department.
Hand Fast Track is ideal for acute, isolated injuries to the hand, work accidents and sports injuries whether it be a sprained finger that needs an X-ray or a lacerated tendon that needs emergency surgery.
The hours of the Hand Fast Track are 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
