What is a MRI exam?
An MRI is a noninvasive imaging test that creates clear, detailed images of the organs and structures in your body.
MRIs create images of organs, bones, soft tissue, and other internal structures of the body. Instead of ionizing radiation, which is used in traditional x-ray, MRI uses a powerful magnet, radio-frequency waves, and a computer to capture these images.
