American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Duke Raleigh's team walked at the event that celebrates cancer survivorship and remembers those who had lost their battle with cancer.
American Heart Association's Triangle Heart Walk
Duke Medicine is a local sponsor of the American Heart Association Triangle Heart Walk. The funds from the race support the prevention of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk and 5K Run
Duke Raleigh Cancer Center is a presenting sponsor of the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5K Run. This event will raise money to benefit the Duke Gynecologic Oncology program and increase awareness about ovarian cancer.
North Carolina Lung Partnership's Free to Breathe 5K Walk/Run
Duke Raleigh Cancer Center is the presenting sponsor for the Free to Breathe 5K Lung Cancer Run/Walk & Rally. The race raises funds in support of lung cancer research and awareness.
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
The Komen Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost the battle to the disease. Duke Medicine had a walk team in this year's race.
