The P.G. Fox Society is a philanthropic program supporting special projects that benefit the patients of Duke Raleigh Hospital.
The Society has funded projects including a private consult room for physicians, patients and their families, the creation of an annual educational scholarship for nursing recognition, an endowment for "where the needs" are greatest and a portion of The Duke Raleigh Gardens.
Beginning in 2011, the P.G. Fox Society began recognizing individuals who demonstrate a sustained dedication to civic participation and an ability to inspire others with the Compassionate Care Award.
Opportunities are currently available to support the restoration of Birdwood, a treasured home and its five acres of gardens and woods adjacent to Duke Raleigh's campus. When completed, Birdwood will serve as a hospital hospitality house, offering comfort, care, and lodging.
