Duke Raleigh Hospital Receives Spirit of NC Award through United Way
Duke Raleigh Hospital received the Spirit of NC Award for running a successful employee campaign for the United Way of the Triangle in 2009. Duke Raleigh was honored at the United Way of North Carolina Annual Meeting in February 2010 in Pinehurst.
The Guild at Duke Raleigh Hospital
The Duke Raleigh Hospital Guild was chartered in 2005 to help support the mission and services of the hospital, both onsite and throughout the community. Through outreach, patient support, education and public relations, the Guild helps reinforce the hospital's message.

Haiti
After a catastrophic earthquake struck Haiti in January 2010, Duke Raleigh Hospital sprung into action. Through several support organizations, medical teams from Duke Raleigh joined other medical professionals from the Triangle on medical relief missions to treat the injured.
