In addition to treatment, nutrition plays an essential role in the fight against cancer. Adequate nutrition provides strength, preservation of muscle, and improves quality of life.
Join Lindsay Kovacic, RD, CSO, LDN and the Duke Raleigh Hospital Nutritional Services team for this 30-minute class to learn more about which nutrients can help you, or your loved one, during treatment.
This class is perfect for caregivers who are waiting with loved ones during treatment sessions, appointments, or just passing through. While it is geared towards caregivers of our cancer patients, all are welcome.
