Attention Patients and Visitors: Temporary Main Entrance Closure
The front door entrance of Duke Raleigh Hospital is being renovated beginning Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26. This renovation will require the front entrance, including the driveway under the canopy, to be closed throughout the week. During this time patients, visitors and staff will utilize the side entrance under the blue awning across from parking deck P-2. Hospital Security will be available to assist with questions or directions to the nearest available entrance. Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve our hospital and campus.

From Points East
- Take I-40 West towards Raleigh/Durham
- Take the US-64 EAST/I-440 NORTH exit, Exit #301
- Merge onto I-440 East
- Take the WAKE FOREST ROAD exit, Exit #10
- Turn RIGHT onto WAKE FOREST ROAD
- Duke Raleigh's entrance comes up quickly on the Right.
- There are two free parking decks for visitors and patients (P1 & P2). Parking deck P2 is just to the left of the Hospital's main entrance, and parking deck P1 is just the right of the medical office building next to the hospital.
From Points West
- Take I-40 East to Raleigh/Durham
- Take RALEIGH CHAPEL HILL EXWY.
- RALEIGH CHAPEL HILL EXWY becomes WADE AVE.
- Take the I-440 NORTH/US-1 NORTH/INNER BELTLINE ramp towards WAKE FOREST/ROCKY MOUNT/WILSON.
- Merge onto I-440 NORTH
- Take the WAKE FOREST ROAD exit, Exit #10
- Turn LEFT onto WAKE FOREST ROAD
- You will travel back under I-440
- Start merging to the right hand side of Wake Forest Road
- Duke Raleigh's entrance comes up quickly on the Right.
- There are two free parking decks for visitors and patients (P1 & P2). Parking deck P2 is just to the left of the Hospital's main entrance, and parking deck P1 is just the right of the medical office building next to the hospital.
