Media Interviews and Stories
Any reporter or photographer interested in covering a story at Duke Raleigh Hospital must contact a representative in the office of public relations and community outreach. We are happy to try to accommodate any requests you my have by arranging interviews and photo opportunities with medical experts, staff, or patients.
Duke Raleigh Hospital policy requires that members of the media be escorted at all times while on hospital property. Please call the office of public relations and community outreach in advance to arrange this.
Patient Information
The office of public relations and community outreach can assist members of the media in receiving a patient condition during regular office hours. To receive a report after hours, please call our patient information desk at 919-954-3126.
Those individuals making an inquiry must provide the hospital with a patient’s full name before a condition report can be released, in accordance with the American Hospital Association Guidelines and HIPAA guidelines.
